We’re so excited to announce “The Centre is Everywhere”, a new work by Edmund Finnis, commissioned as part of the PRS Foundation New Music Biennial 2019. The new work will be performed twice, with its premiere taking place at the Southbank Centre in London, and a second festival performance to take place at FRÜIT in Hull.
Rakhi Singh, Music Director, describes the new work as “something beautiful and strange, a music of close whispers and myriad reflections”. Full press release from PRSF right here: http://bit.ly/NMB2019.
New Music Biennial 2019 also features a range of other incredible British creators, including London Contemporary Orchestra, Immix Ensemble, Metal Liverpool, BBC Concert Orchestra, Kate Tempest, Shiva Feshareki, and many more. The whole festival will be broadcast by BBC Radio 3 and is being recorded by NMC Recordings.
