We believe that in order to make work that is intense, vital and relevant, you need more than one type of person.

Of course, much of what we do is built around creating thrilling musical performances, but musicians and composers never work alone. Collaboration is in our DNA.

Manchester Collective are musicians, but also producers, dancers and film-makers. We are recording engineers. We are copy-writers and fundraisers, directors, commissioners and choreographers. We are composers. (So many composers). We are electronic musicians, programmers, photographers and researchers.

The work that we do, we do together. It’s our greatest strength, and the future of our sector.
